Masterchef Fever

This is the Australia Masterchef session, nearly everyone is crazy about the show. I have the honor to make the Masterchef theme birthday cake for this lovely mummy and daughter. The theme is requested by the daughter Jessie.

Up Up Up!!!

This is yet another exciting and interesting theme of birthday cupcakes. I haven’t seen the movie but have seen a lot of the posters of the characters around. I love especially the fat cute boy! Now putting my hands on to model the characters and to design the cupcakes with the theme, make me love it even more! Here’s the outcome.

Sugarcraft Month

April is a very eventful month for me and my friends around. A lot of kids birthday on this month. However, this year I won’t be able to do any of the birthday cakes/cupcakes for these lovely kids, including my own daughter as I am on maternity leaves.
2 of the close friends asked me for favour to do some cupcakes & cakes sugarcraft figurines for them upfront. So I have been very busy doing the sugarcraft early March before my bub pops. These are the two themes toppers I did. All done with sugarcraft.

I manage to did the birthday set for this theme much earlier before the party and my delivery. Thanks Lena for helping me to assemble the whole cupcakes toppers with the cupcakes on the party day.

Winnie the Pooh back on request

A simple baby Winnie the Pooh cake for Olivia’s 1st birthday from her loving parents. The figurine was based one the same figurine I did last year for Winnie the Pooh baby shower cake.

 

This is my last order before maternity leave. Quite happy with the result.

Honey, I shrunk your SLR set!!!

It is such a great fun for me to do the photography theme birthday cupcakes. Thanks to Lena who gave me such an honour! These toppers are made based on the SLR camera and the gadgets that belong to the birthday boys.

Blessed Chinese New Year! Gong Xi Gong Xi!!

As you know Chinese New Year is the biggest celebration in the year for all Chinese. It is exactly like Christmas. Family members from near and far will travel back to have reunion with the family. Lots and lots of food involve during this festival season as well.

For many years I haven’t been back to my home country/home town for reunion with family. Really miss the great fellowship, great food and the atmosphere of CNY there!

To make up what I miss, I have to make some authentic CNY cookies and decorate my house with some CNY decoration.

I am glad that this year I have the opportunity to even do some CNY cupcakes for a customer as well! Cute little rabbits for Rabbit year, fire crackers, mandarin oranges, lion face, gold nuggets etc. I really enjoy the process of making these cupcakes toppers.

This pair of rabbit was modelled based on customer’s photo. They are cute aren’t they?
